Start and finish at Beesley Green Community Centre

Worsley Physio are organising the Worsley Woods Trail races for the 5th successive year, welcoming runners and families of all ability and age groups. The event attracts a mixture of runners from across the region, and local runners along for this family-friendly event, to raise money for local charities.

The main race is 4.5 miles (min age 15), entirely off-road, taking the loop line footpath from Beesley Green towards Monton, followed by a lap of WorsleyWoods. The course is undulating and tough in places (as previous entrants will tell you), and covers a variety of terrain.

For the more leisurely, there is the Fun Run - a shortened version just over 1 mile long. It’s open to all ages and proves very popular with local families. There is a T-shirt given to the first 100 children to enter!

This year we are raising funds for St. Ann’s Hospice, St John Ambulance and Worsley Woods Action Group.
