Our main Charity this year is the Salford Advertiser Christie appeal
If you are not running but would like to be involved in helping us with the races in any way we would love to hear from you!
This year’s 4.5 mile race is kindly supported by Bet Fred, and Tax Assist Accountants. The Fun run is again supported by Fledglings nursery. Friends of Roe Green will provide family entertainment on Beesley Green, bring the kids!
Athlete Matters News
Duncan has returned from the European Cup 10,000m in Marseille where he worked with Mo Farah, who clocked an impressive 27’28” making him the 3rd fastest Brit of all time over this distance.
European Athletics Championships , Barcelona 26 July-1 August
Duncan is working there as GB team Physio, and leading up that he is based at the Font Romeu training camp working with the athletes preparing for the Games. Good luck to our clients Andi Jones and Hatti Dean who are running the marathon and steeplechase respectively.
Preparations are well underway, with Andi finishing 2nd in the City of Manchester 10k in 29:32 and Hatti achieving some good PBs |

Our own Physio Paul Savage finished 3rd in the European Age Group
Championships (Triathlon)
Jacqui Slack:
leads the National Elite series following up her win in Strathclyde with a
3rd place at Windsor
Matt Barnes:
is having a great season to finish in 4th place in the UK trials 5000m and
followed that up with the GB 5k road title

Hannah nearly runs away with the circus
Our sports masseuse, Hannah Griffiths proved such a hit with Cirque du Soleil when we did some work with them earlier this month, that they asked her to join them on tour. Hannah declined deciding that she liked it better at the clinic, well done Hannah!
