"I first used Athlete Matters back in 2007, when I was seeking treatment for an injured quadricep. With their help at the clinic I was back racing at full fitness within weeks. In 2008 I also suffered a stress fracture of my metatarsals. With Paul's expertise in sports specific rehabilitation I was able to compete later that same season. I now attend weekly core stability sessions at the clinic and have regular injury preventative treatments i.e. sports massages, bike fit assessment and Pilates reformer lessons.

"When you step up to long distance running, one thing you have to do is look after yourself. Both before and after racing keeping your body in the best condition possible is of great importance. No point putting all the miles in if when you turn up on the line your body can't do the job needed. Something I've found makes all the difference is good physio, both for treating injuries but for helping to ensure you don't get them in the first place. I'm very selective in who I'm prepared to trust my legs to, and I go to Athlete Matters for all the weekly stretching and maintenance that my body requires. "
