"I have been seeing 'Athlete Matters' for a while now, mainly as an effective method of helping to prevent injuries during the high volume of training and racing I do.
I now see my visits to 'Athlete Matters' as an important part of my whole training programme. 'Athlete Matters' are very professional, friendly and willing to go the extra mile when a visit is required at short notice."

"As an elite marathon runner I usually run between 120 and 140 miles every week, this takes its toll on the body. I use Athlete Matters for all of my medical support to keep me in good shape.
Whether its sports massage and strength and conditioning to prevent problems or physiotherapy to treat the injuries or just advice to plan races and training I can always rely on their knowledge and expertise."

"I first used Athlete Matters back in 2007, when I was seeking treatment for an injured quadricep. With their help at the clinic I was back racing at full fitness within weeks. In 2008 I also suffered a stress fracture of my metatarsals. With Paul's expertise in sports specific rehabilitation I was able to compete later that same season. I now attend weekly core stability sessions at the clinic and have regular injury preventative treatments i.e. sports massages, bike fit assessment and Pilates reformer lessons.
Duncan is now my permanent running and cycling coach, and has inspired me to continue training hard, and strive to compete at the highest level. I feel Athlete Matters has offered an invaluable service over the years and has played a vital role in my recent triathlon successes.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Athlete Matters' physiotherapy service to anyone regardless of their age or sporting ability."

"Following years of being bounced from Physios to Specialists, Duncan has helped guide me back to competition.
He has rehabilitated me through a complex series of injuries when I thought I would no longer be able to compete and now with his continued involvement, I can look to the future with optimism of reaching my potential."

"I contacted athlete matters 18 months ago when my injuries were at their worst. They quickly identified my injuries and the underlying causes. I have visited athlete matters regularly during that time and not only have my injuries eased significantly, but under their advice my background fitness has also improved.
I feel better than ever and better equipped to deal with the stresses and strains of my sport. I would recommend Duncan and the Worsley Sports Injuries Clinic to any athlete!"

"Athlete Matters utilised in-depth knowledge about training and racing for my event 3000m steeplechase to ensure my goals were achieved, despite an ongoing injury problem. Their sensitive and skilful approach proved invaluable, enabling me to continue training and competing at a high level over the summer track season culminating in 4th place at the Europeans and narrowly missing out on the British record.
I'm really grateful for the interest and dedication given to me. "

"When you step up to long distance running, one thing you have to do is look after yourself. Both before and after racing keeping your body in the best condition possible is of great importance. No point putting all the miles in if when you turn up on the line your body can't do the job needed. Something I've found makes all the difference is good physio, both for treating injuries but for helping to ensure you don't get them in the first place. I'm very selective in who I'm prepared to trust my legs to, and I go to Athlete Matters for all the weekly stretching and maintenance that my body requires. "
